Asian Lemon Bamboo

The Asian Lemon bamboo is a great screening plant that will also provide eye-popping color in any landscape. It is tall enough to provide cover at 25 feet, but not so tall that it is unwieldy. It forms in erect, tight clumps and is visually breathtaking. It can also survive in temperatures down to 20°F, which makes it quite cold-hardy.

Angel Mist Bamboo

Angel Mist bamboo is light in color—yellow or light green—with dark green striping and a waxy powder coating. This beautiful bamboo is tall—35 feet in height—but not as tall as similar “giant” bamboos. It is easy to care for and ideal for use in urban gardens. It is commanding and attractive, and it serves both to screen an area for privacy and to draw visitors’ eyes toward its impressive size and color.

Graceful Bamboo

Graceful bamboo has an upright growth pattern with foliage that cascades gracefully and leaf tips that point downward. We often call it the “ideal” bamboo. The very fast growing and well-behaved bamboo can reach heights up to 25 feet tall within 2 to 3 years and can handle temperatures down to 15°F. The tight erect clumps are ideal for narrow spaces and are often planted in a row to create a beautiful privacy hedge.

Monastery Bamboo

Perfect for tight spots, Monastery bamboo is tight-clumping and tall. It features small leaves on the top third that give it a cloud-like effect.
Its lower portion tends not to grow foliage, which makes each clump appear almost tree-like. The attractive plant has strong and extremely straight culms that can grow up to 40 feet in areas where the soil is well-drained but consistently moist. It can be used, as most bamboo can, for screening, but its tall, almost regal, appearance is great for use as a centerpiece.

Seabreeze Bamboo

Seabreeze bamboo is tough, bushy and very fast growing to heights up to 40 feet, and can withstand temperatures down to 20°F. Its 2 1/2-inch diameter canes have a distinctive bluish-white tint in each section. When mature, it forms a graceful umbrella-shaped arch and is perfect for hedges and privacy screens. The canes also make peaceful “bamboo sounds” in the wind.
